Dr. Todd Fearer specializes in geriatric medicine, treating the sometimes complex medical problems of older adults. He is skilled in the diagnostic, therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative aspects of illness in the elderly. His practice focuses on health promotion and the treatment of disease and disability of later life.
Elderly patients often have multiple co-morbidities, use multiple medications, and may face social disadvantages, emotional vulnerability, or financial challenges. Given the types of problems that elderly adults and their families face, Dr. Fearer employs his long experience and varied skills to treat challenging acute and chronic diseases. He takes a whole-person and family approach, providing care for geriatric patients at his office in Santa Barbara, California.
